Dirtybit was one of the first companies to have success with a real-time multiplayer mobile game. Being founded in 2011, the company early established itself as one of Norway's most promising mobile start-ups. Dirtybit consists of 12 young and innovative minds - where everybody matters and contribute to the success of the company. Games in the current portfolio are Fun Run, Fun Run 2, Fun Run Arena and Drop the Box - which in total have more than 90 million downloads worldwide.
We are looking for a 2D Game Artist to join our team in a fulltime position.
As Dirtybit’s new artist you will be working alongside our amazing developers, creating polished and beautiful games for mobile and tablet that will be enjoyed by millions of people across the world.
Creating in-game art assets such as items, tile sets, environments, characters, buildings, UI elements, visual effects
Creating shareable content and marketing assets for distribution via social media channels
An exceptional portfolio that demonstrates a breadth of ability - in both traditional and digital drawing (link to portfolio must be included)
Able to work with different styles of art
An excellent team player
6+ months of experience (freelance or industry) in delivering polished products for other people to use
Knowledge of industry standard tools like Photoshop and Illustrator
Ideally a degree in fine art, computer animation, digital media design or similar
Strong written and verbal communication skills (English)
A passion for video games and art, and commitment to personal development
Good time-management and organisational skills
A positive and outgoing personality, an enthusiastic team player with a can-do attitude
The ability to handle multiple on-going briefs and a strong sense of self-organisation
The ability to take and give constructive feedback to internal and external staff
